How To Re-Engage The Church: Expert Interview with Ike Reighard SNEAK PEEK

This is one of the most moving expert interviews to date. Pastor Ike Reighard shares with us how his trek has taken him from large churches he has started all the way to smaller works that have been renewed. This is the story of renewal.

How many times have you seen churches that have lost the steam that was once behind their backs? To lose momentum is not the end of the world for any of us. It is however a significant factor to mix in with what we are facing. God is up to the notion of renewing congregations. We need to have a hopeful approach to things. We are hopefully going to find the way forward in all that is going on.

There are multitudes of churches in America today that have great facilities but lack the essential leadership that is needed to put those facilities to the proper use. Ike  believes we are standing on the edge of some great changes in the American church scene. We need to open our hearts to doing things a little differently however. We are the ones who are able to rearrange the details of the local church such that the old can work with the new. With the interworking of the old with the new we can build churches that are going to be established in full on strength.

About Ike Reighard

Ike has served at Piedmont Church since January 2006 (as Interim Pastor) and became the Lead Pastor in February 2007.  Prior to Piedmont, over his career he was the Founding Pastor of NorthStar Church in Kennesaw, Georgia; he was the Lead Pastor at the North Campus of First Baptist Church of Atlanta; he was the Senior Pastor at New Hope Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Georgia (recognized as the 2nd fastest growing church in the Southern Baptist Convention under his leadership.)  While serving at NorthStar Church and Piedmont Church, Ike was the Chief People Officer of Homebanc Mortgage in Atlanta, Georgia (recognized for four  consecutive years as one of Fortune Magazine’s Best Companies to Work For while he was the CPO.)

Ike is the author of three books – Treasures from the Dark, Discovering Your Northstar, and Discovering Your Northstar Journal.  He  has co-authored a daily devotional book with Zig Ziglar that is scheduled to be released by Tyndale House in the Fall of 2009.

Ike is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Mercer University (B.A. – Religion.)  He earned his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry  degrees from Luther Rice Seminary.

The E2 Evangelism Experience – Expert Interview with Dave Workman SNEAK PEEK

We join Pastor Dave Workman as he shares with us the power and excitement of “E2” – here we get into the notion that evangelism is an easy matter at some points but it is a complicated one on other counts. We need to come to see the notion of evangelism as something that can be learned from each time we go out to engage the community. God desires to specifically lead us along the lines of what we are up to in terms of getting a spiritual plan going.

Imagine you get with your team, you pray for specific guidance, then when you are able to discern the direction God is providing you can be led out in an especially effective way.

He illustrates this approach to sharing God’s love with lots of stories that convey the excitement we can get from being led by God’s Spirit.

Along with the message we come to share there is the question of how do we best convey that notion of God’s love. God has a lot to say about that. With E2 we are getting involved in an adventure that takes us out into the highways and byways of life – E2 shows us that we can relax and allow God to direct our paths as we get involved in the lives of others. We are going to learn a lot about how to hear from God in the context of the evangelism conveying of things. God can lead us to the right place, the right time, the right setting. He has much to say about that if we are listening. E2 is an approach to doing evangelism that allows us to hear of God’s plan to connect with people we are out there to love.

You’ve got a second chance…

Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 PM Eastern time, we
launched ServeCoach.com… and things just
went nuts.

We had people signing up so fast that I thought
our Internet connection was going to melt.

Which means we sold out our first 50 memberships WAY
faster than I thought we would. That also means
that the special bonus for the first 50 people to
sign up for is now long gone. My apologies if you
missed out… I know some folks had unavoidable
conflicts and couldn’t be waiting at their
computer when we went live.

HOWEVER, I have some good news for you. We did
some brainstorming this morning, and we came up
with an idea. This is the deal – the special
one-on-one coaching call is sold out… but if you sign up for
a ServeCoach.com membership by Tuesday, May 12th at
11:59 PM, you will get access to a 1 hour coaching webcast
(20 person maximum), where you can still get your
questions answered. We will schedule as many of these
webcasts as needed for those who sign up by Tuesday at
11:59 PM.

I know this isn’t quite the same thing as a one-on-one call…
but you will still get a bit more intimacy than the regular Q&A
webcast provides, which will be open to every member
of ServeCoach.com towards the end of every month.

But remember, to get this bonus you have to act by
Tuesday, May 12th at 11:59 PM.

To get more details, go here:

Keep walking in the outflow!

BONUSES

Fast Mover Bonus #1 – First 50 Only

Ok, this is a biggie…

For the first 50 people who join ServeCoach.com, I will schedule a one-on-one strategy session where we can discuss your ideas and how you should proceed.

And if you don’t think we can get much accomplished in 30-minutes, think again!

Prior to our first call, you’ll fill out an information sheet where you’ll give me all the details about your ministry. (NOTE: You’ll find the mere act of filling out this info sheet to be valuable all by itself.) This way I’ll be able to prepare for our call ahead of time and fully maximize the time that we have.

Value: Priceless

Fast Mover Bonus #2 – First 500 Only

When we were cleaning out the vault we found my original presentation on servant evangelism on the church satellite network. Though the clothes and hairstyles of the audience will have you laughing, the content has never been needed more. It’s just as appropriate for you doing ministry in 2009, as it was fifteen years ago in 1994.

This 3 hour training seminar has been broken down into 6 lessons and includes PDF notes for you to download, print out, and fill out as you watch the videos.

Value: $99

OK, now you know about the bonuses being offered, so make sure you’re ready for the launch tomorrow at 4 PM Eastern / 1 PM Pacific!

Steve

P.S. – We have a large number of people on our list, visiting the blog, and leaving comments. All of this has come without much “publicity” – this is all from our own internal list.

I have no way of knowing how many people will register for ServeCoach.com, but I DO know that the first bonus will go very fast.

So if you want to grab one of those spots, then be ready tomorrow when we open.
