How Much Money Is Needed to Start Servant Evangelism?

A number of readers wrote in to us, sharing their desire to reach people in their community, but were frustrated due to a lack of finances. I hope this video helps you move forward, no matter what your financial situation.

Also, you will want to check back this Thursday to watch my interview with Mike Slaughter, pastor of Ginghamsburg Church in Tipp City, OH. We’ll be talking about how it’s time to rediscover our apostolic DNA and become the church Christ intended us to be. Great word. We have found this principle to be true in all our outreaches. Finances follow and so do the people.

thanks for the great video, Steve. I just heard that leaders in 14 countries want to use my http://www.GenerousLife.info 40 Day Bible devotional with 100,000 churches and over 1 million Christians. It is going to take some financial resources to accomplish this, but I appreciated your reminder that God’s gives the idea/vision before He releases the resources. God bless you in all you do!

Steve, I appreciate you reminder about trusting the provisions of God when we supply the people to meet needs. It’s so easy to forget that God is not broke and worry that somehow we are being poor stewards if we spend what we don’t have on others. Great reminder!

wow, awesome words of wisdom and encouragement. Sometimes we can use the excuse of “no money” as a cop out and excuse. The dollars store has candy, cards can be made for a few cents. I sacrafice personal things and buy surf wax and candy, insted of coffee for myself. But the big truth is “build it and they will come”. Not a building or fake stuff, but the true love of God for others .They will come !! They can’t resist it. Thats why Christ had a big impact, He loved them all and served all.

Thank you for reminding us that God will take our small things and turn them into “big” things for His glory. Little is much when God is in it! Looking forward to getting my people started serving others. Thanks for your help in mentoring us with these short video blogs. God bless you.
